Ps. Christopher Lovell

Pastor Christopher (Chris) Lovell brings over 30 years of diverse experience in education, church planting, pastoral care, and cross-cultural ministry. As a credentialed chaplain with Chaplaincy Australia and an ordained minister with Australian Christian Churches, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for mentoring and training in Christian ministry.

Chris's career began as a school teacher in Melbourne and later moved to The King’s School in North Parramatta (NSW), where he led the Biblical Studies Department, developing a comprehensive Christian Studies program and guiding a diverse team of educators. His roles in these settings have been instrumental in shaping his expertise in curriculum development, class management, and student support.

After completing his Bachelor of Biblical Studies, Chris has served in various pastoral roles, including Assistant Pastor and church planter, where he honed his skills in spiritual guidance and community engagement. His years spent in the missions field in Malaysia, Singapore, and Southeast Asia conducting seminars on family and marriage have greatly influenced his approach to cross-cultural communication and teaching.

Holding a Certificate IV in Training and Assessing, he has been actively involved in training and mentoring church leaders and students in a variety of subjects, including Pastoral Care and Conflict Resolution.

Currently semi-retired, Chris continues to work as a chaplain and engage in overseas missions, providing guidance in marriage, family, and leadership.

Chris is enthusiastic about embarking on the learning journey with his students, and is eager to contribute to their growth and success in their chosen paths. He looks forward to exploring and growing together with you as you progress through your course.
